The 2-Star Castle Hokele Suites Waikiki is
an older ten story budget hotel located
toward the Ala Moana end of Waikiki. The
hotel features Studios and One and Two
bedroom suites and is expected to go through
a $4.5 million phased renovation in 2007.
Using rich textured woods, native stones and
a tropical motif, the Castle Resort & Hotel
group are planning on turning the property
into a 3-star boutique hotel.
The property is just one block from the main
street of Waikiki, Kalakaua Avenue and a
short stroll to shops and attractions.
Property amenities include limited parking
(fee), swimming pool and sun deck,
complimentary daily newspaper, laundry
facilities, ATM machine, Activities Desk,
internet kiosk and printer in the lobby
(fee) and Hawaiian craft store.
A new restaurant opened recently for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hokele
Restaurant and Bar is open daily and
features a Happy Hour from 4 to 7 pm and
Karaoke nightly from 9:30 pm. Hokele is also
the site for the complimentary Continental
Breakfast (up to 2 guests per room) and will
be served daily from 7:30 to 9:30 am. Guests
will receive coupons to redeem and will have
the option to purchase full buffet breakfast
at the restaurant for an additional $3 per
person with the coupon. There are many other
restaurants within walking distance of the
Hokele Suites, including Keo's Thai
Restaurant, Tony Roma's and other dining
spots. |
