OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The Outrigger's newest condominium, the
3.5-star Luana Waikiki was formerly a hotel
that has been beautifully renovated and
turned into spacious studios and 1-bedroom
units. The Luana also holds a AAA 3 Diamond
rating. It is located at the Ala Moana
Boulevard end of Waikiki, providing guests
with not only a quieter part of town, but
with most units enjoying beautiful views of
Fort DeRussy Park and/or the ocean. One of
Waikiki's loveliest beaches is a short
stroll across the beautifully maintained
park.
When checking in, guests receive a packet of
three postcards, one packet per room.
Postcards From Paradise will be mailed by
the Outrigger at no cost anywhere in the
world. Additional postcards may be purchased
at the Reception Desk, which also will be
mailed at no cost. Also included is the
Exclusively for Your coupon booklet of
special offers from various Waikiki
merchants. With a minimum three night stay,
children, 5 to 10 years of age (2 maximum)
are given a free Island Explorer Kit at
check-in. Each Island Explorer Kit includes
Friends of the Reef Adventure Guide/Let's
Explore Hawaii Guide, colorful backpack,
sunglasses, pen and binoculars.
Property amenities include automated wake-up
calls, ATM, business center with high speed
internet access, personal computer, printer,
fax with self service 24/7 (fee), laundry

While there is no restaurant on the
property, there is the upscale Seattle's
Best Coffee, offering premium coffee drinks,
teas, pastries and sandwiches at reasonable
price. It is a short walk to the hottest
spot in town, the new Waikiki Beach Walk
area, filled with shops, restaurants and
bars. Restaurant choices include the casual
The Yard House Restaurant, once known for
its vast beer selection, but now also well
known for its high quality food and the
Holokai Grill. There is also the well known
Ruth's Chris Steak House and the
award-winning Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine from
renowned chef, Roy Yamaguchi at his Roy's
Restaurant.
The Outrigger Luana Waikiki is a great place
to stay, where you can enjoy meals "at
home", take in the excitement of Waikiki,
and come back to the peace and quiet of the
Luana. It is also a popular property with
many return visitors. Stay there once and
perhaps you'll be one of those visitors who
have found the perfect place to stay in
Waikiki. |
