The 3.5-Star Outrigger Waikiki Shore is the
only condominium on the entire stretch of
beautiful beach front in Hawaii's most
famous vacation destination. It is located
right next to the Outrigger Reef on the
Beach Hotel and at the end of the newly
renovated Waikiki Beach Walk, with great
restaurants, shops and entertainment. The
Waikiki Shores requires a two night minimum
stay.
Guest check-in and check-out is at the
Reception Desk of the Outrigger Reef Hotel
and the 24-hour access to porterage and
valet parking is provided by the Outrigger
Reef. When checking in, guests receive a
packet of three postcards, one packet per
room. Postcards From Paradise will be mailed
by the Outrigger at no cost to anywhere in
the world. Additional postcards may be
purchased at the Reception Desk, which also
will be mailed at no cost. Guests also
receive an Exclusively for You Coupon
Booklet, which contains great savings on
dining, entertainment and shopping.
With a minimum three night stay, children, 5
to 10 years of age (2 maximum) are given a
free Island Explorer Kit at check-in. Each
Island Explorer Kit includes a Friends of
the Reef Adventure Guide/Let's Explore
Hawaii Guide, colorful backpack, sunglasses,
pen and binoculars.
Guests at the Waikiki Shore are entitled to
all guest services available at the
adjoining Outrigger Reef on the Beach
including ATM, laundry/dry cleaning valet,
luggage storage, 24 hour front desk,
swimming pool, sun deck, whirlpool spa,
weekly aloha activities, beach services,
business center and laundry facilities.
Additional property amenities include
Concierge Desk, Fitness Center, Hawaiian
entertainment nightly in the Aloha Lobby
Lounge and much more.
While there are no restaurants on-site,
right next door are a couple of very popular
restaurants at the Reef. There are two ocean
front restaurants open on the property at
this time. The Shorebird Restaurant & Beach
Bar is a very popular restaurant, not only
for visitors, but also local residents. With
its windows open to the beach that is right
outside, the restaurant features large
barbeque grills where you can grill your own
food and enjoy such items as hand-carved
steaks and fresh fish, while possibly making
a new friend or two over the fire.
Contemporary Hawaiian music is featured
nightly, perfect for after dinner relaxing.
For a memorable evening, make a reservation
at the Outrigger Reef's fine dining
restaurant, Ocean House, specializing in
Pacific Rim cuisine with marvelous ocean
views and terrific food in casually elegant
surroundings. There is also a Starbucks and
Jamba Juice on the property for those who
are early risers and need a quick cup of
coffee or a power drink before taking a jog
or stroll down the near deserted beach.
This is a lovely property with many
amenities such as the beautiful beach right
outside the door and in the opposite
direction, the Army's Ft. DeRussy, home to
the fascinating U.S. Army Museum and a
beautiful park with barbeque grills and
picnic tables, open to the public as well as
the long, wide beach. The Outrigger Waikiki
Shores receive many positive reviews and has
an enviable record of repeat visitors. |
