The 2.5-star Best Western The Plaza Hotel,
like its sister hotel, the OHANA Honolulu
Airport Hotel, is only one-half mile from
the Honolulu Airport with 24-hour
complimentary shuttle service to and from
the airport. They have just recently
completed a $3 million renovation, including
the lobby, property upgrades and all of the
rooms, which are receiving nice reviews from
recent guests.The hotel is 5 miles from
downtown Honolulu and 8 miles from Waikiki,
with a bus stop to both locations nearby ($2
one way). All guest rooms and common areas
are nonsmoking.
Property amenities include laundry/dry
cleaning valet, luggage storage, ATM
machine, coin-operated laundry,
complimentary WiFi high speed internet
access in the lobby, complimentary
newspaper, playground and picnic area,
swimming pool and sun deck in a tropical
setting, sundries store, parking (fee), 24
hour front desk, security and more.
The hotel's Plaza Restaurant is open for
breakfast daily, offers a buffet lunch from
Sunday to Friday and is open for dinner
Sunday & Monday and Friday & Saturday. Their
sister hotel, OHANA Honolulu Airport Hotel's
restaurant serves dinner on Tuesday to
Thursday from 5 to 9 pm. with complimentary
shuttle service from the Plaza. The Plaza
Lounge at the hotel features sporting events
broadcast live via satellite on a jumbo TV
screen.
The Best Western The Plaza Hotel is a very
convenient place to stay at reasonable
prices if you are coming in from a neighbor
island and need a place to stay overnight
before catching a flight the next morning or
the reverse. |
