|
|
| |
After a multi-million dollar transformation,
the 4-star Ala Moana Hotel has been turned
into a stunning property with deluxe guest
rooms featuring cool colors and warm hues
that simply invite you to relax and enjoy
your stay. The location of the hotel is also
terrific, especially for those who don't
want to be in the midst of the hustle and
bustle of Waikiki. All common areas and
guest rooms are nonsmoking. At check-in
guests receive an Exclusively for You Coupon
Booklet, which contains great savings on
dining, entertainment and shopping.
The Ala Moana is adjacent to the world-class
Ala Moana Shopping Center, the largest
open-air mall in America. There are over 290
shops and 70 dining options and an easy
stroll from the hotel. Also a short block
away is the beginning of the 76-acre Ala
Moana Beach Park, a wonderful combination of
beach and lawn, lots of trees, picnic
tables, jogging paths, tennis courts and
very safe swimming beaches. If you want to
spend time in Waikiki, major bus stops are
just around the corner from the hotel.
Property amenities include a spacious new
sun deck, swimming pool, sauna and remodeled
Fitness Center featuring the latest in
equipment. Other amenities include parking
(fee), luggage storage, wakeup calls,
laundry facilities, 24 hour front desk,
sundries store, gift shop, hair salon,
wireless internet access in lobby and other
pubic areas(fee) and Business Center.
For dining and entertainment, the Ala Moana
Hotel offerings include the Plantation Cafe,
popular with residents for Sunday brunches
and weekend dinner buffets, Tsukasa
featuring Japanese cuisine and Royal Gardens
Restaurant featuring Chinese cuisine. For
fine dining you need to go to the 36th floor
to Aaron's, with it's sweeping city views
high atop the Honolulu skyline. They serve
Classic American cuisine with a
Mediterranean and Asian flair.
A casual dining spot is the poolside Moana
Lanai featuring smoothies, salads and light
sandwiches and for cocktails and
entertainment on the weekend, check out
Pakele Lobby Bar. There is a Polynesian
Revue with dinner service in the Hawaiian
Hut; and, for cocktails and dancing, there
is the ever popular Rumours Nightclub. |
