The 2-Star Aqua Waikiki Marina is a highrise
budget hotel located on the edge of Waikiki,
but within walking distance of Waikiki Beach
and about the same distance to Duke
Kahanamoku Beach at Ala Moana Beach Park.
You can walk or hop on a bus almost outside
your door to get to Ala Moana Shopping
Center with over 265 stores and restaurants
and the main hub of The Bus system which
goes all over the island.
The Waikiki Marina hotel is wedge-shaped,
providing angeled rooms for the best
possible views. With 136 rooms and only 4 to
a floor, there are wonderful views of
downtown Honolulu, Waikiki Beach and Diamond
Head. And the two glass elevators give you
an additional chance to admire the views as
you are whisked to your room.
Property amenities include a small salt
water swimming pool, sundeck with lounge
chairs and a hot tub, all surrounded by
tropical plants. Other amenities include a
24-hour front desk and guest services agent,
access to AquaSPA facilities at a nearby
companion hotel, complimentary local
newspapers in the lobby, complimentary
lighted tennis court and equipment, covered
parking garage (fee), fax and copy service
(fee), laundry facilities, luggage storage
and more.
Like most Aqua properties, the Waikiki
Marina is a budget hotel with lots of
amenities, some of which you don't even get
at larger properties. It has a great
location, away from the noise and activity
of Waikiki, still close enough to the
beaches and shopping and best of all, the
prices are reasonable. |
