The 3.5-star Best Western Coconut Waikiki
Hotel is a charming, moderately priced
boutique hotel managed by Aqua Hotel &
Resorts, located near the Ala Wai Canal with
wonderful mountain and city views. With an
ambiance of a bed and breakfast inn, this
lovely hotel provides a relaxed oasis for
guests. It is only a short walk to the beach
and a hop across the street to the canal
where you can sit and watch outrigger canoe
paddlers from the local schools practicing
for upcoming ocean races.
This charming property is newly renovated
with a retro-inspired décor, bright and
breezy and just 3 blocks to the beach and
the new, hip Waikiki Beach Walk area with
great restaurants, late night bars, dancing
and entertainment. All the rooms have been
redone as well as the breakfast area and
lobby with new tile flooring and furniture.
The Best Western Coconut Waikiki Hotel was
very popular before they closed on February
23, 2008 and no doubt will be even more
popular now with everything so fresh and
new. There is limited parking at a fee of
$22 per day.
The hotel is renowned for their amount of
complimentary amenities, especially at their
always reasonable prices. They include
complimentary Continental Breakfast daily,
with fresh fruit, muffins and pastries,
coffee and tea. Complimentary coffee service
is available in the lobby 24 hours a day. If
you forgot to pack something essential, the
hotel offers guests a "Did You Forget
something" essential travel set and prior to
departure you will also receive a package of
Macadamia Nut and Coconut Cookies. Other
property amenities include a small garden
pool in a very lovely tropical area with a
wrap around deck, perfect to soothe your
body after a busy day of beach time or
activities and a small fitness center. There
is complimentary WiFi throughout the
property.
You can cross the street and stroll along
the Ala Wai Canal where there is a
walking/jogging path that goes from one end
of the canal to the other, or you can go in
the opposite direction and stroll along
Kalakaua Avenue for people watching,
shopping, dining or hanging out at the
beach, a short 3 blocks away.
This is a very popular hotel, located in a
quieter part of Waikiki, yet with easy
access to The Bus line, the beach and
restaurants and shops of Waikiki. Whatever
you choose to do, one of the best parts of
the day will be coming home to the Best
Western Coconut Waikiki Hotel and being
welcomed back with such warm smiles and
aloha. |
