Over a hundred years ago, Hawaii's last and
most beloved princess lived in the middle of
Waikiki at the former royal estate of 'Ainahua.
Third in line for the throne, Princess
Kaiulani was educated in England and
returned to the islands only to die at the
age of 23. The 3.5-star Sheraton Princess
Kaiulani is located on the former grounds of
the estate, where once a young princess
strolled through tropical gardens with
Robert Louis Stevenson for company. The
hotel celebrates the life of this most
beautiful Hawaiian Princess with a glimpse
to the royal past in the art and decorations
throughout the hotel, including the most
well known portrait of the Princess in a
place of honor in the hotel's open air
lobby.
Located right across the street from Waikiki
Beach and all its activities, the Sheraton
Princess Kaiulani features a large swimming
pool, pool bar service, travel desk,
Concierge, Doctor's On Call Medical
Services, self parking (fee) and even an
historical property tour.
There are a choice of restaurants to dine at
including the Pikake Terrace, relaxed
outdoor dining in a poolside garden setting,
with great buffets and delightful Hawaiian
music performed nightly. There is also a
food court and the very popular Momoyama,
featuring authentic Japanese cuisine
nightly. Creation - A Polynesian Journey is
a wonderful show not to miss, featuring the
story of the South Pacific in music and
dance.
The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is part of
Sheraton's "Stay At One, Play At All"
program where you can play at all their
sister properties in Waikiki and simply
