Of all of Hawaii's most luxurious hotels,
the 5-Star The Kahala Hotel & Resort is in a

There is a complimentary resort shuttle to
Ala Moana Shopping Center, Waikiki and

Another award-winner is Hoku's, the
signature restaurant at The Kahala Hotel &
Resort. There are breathtaking panoramic
views of the ocean from every table in the
multi-level dining room. Tokyo-Tokyo is a
beautiful restaurant with gardens, wood
furnishings and a peaceful, calming
atmosphere you can sense as soon as you
arrive. The Plumeria Beach House, is a
casual beach side cafe open for breakfast,
lunch & dinner, renowned for their Kahala
Burger and Sunday Brunch.
The Veranda is a beautiful light-filled
space that offers panoramic ocean views, a
delightful High Tea in the afternoon and
appetizers & cocktails in the evening, with
live entertainment and dancing. The newest
addition to the dining scene is the Seaside
Grill with a direct view of the ocean and
open for lunch served at beachside tables.
Sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and great
desserts, all served with drinks from the
poolside bar.
For both adults and children, The Kahala
offers a unique Dolphin Encounter for a fee.
The 26,000 square foot natural lagoon is
home to five Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins
where guests get into the water with the
dolphins. Other property amenities include a
Fitness Center, the award-winning Spa Suites
at the Kahala with treatment rooms as large
as 550 sq. ft. with a personal changing and
relaxation area, private shower, signature
infinity-edged soaking bath and a
beautifully landscaped courtyard of native
Hawaiian plants.
The pool area has also been refurbished and
features lounges with deep cushions, perfect
for spending the afternoon by the pool as
well as a pool bar to quench your thirst for
those warm days in the sun. Or you could
relax on the 800 foot stretch of secluded
sand beach and truly enjoy yourself with
complimentary beach chairs and towels. There
is no Resort Fee at the hotel and instead
they offer many complimentary amenities that
start with a welcome cool towel at check in
and Aloha lei.
They have bicycles to ride, bottled water
for runners, CD Player and head sets
available at the pool, access to an audio CD
and video VHS & DVD library, introductory
surfing and stand up paddleboard clinics,
newspapers and coffee in the lobby, WiFi
access in the pool and beach area and other
spots on the property, use of the Fitness
Center's workout facilities, Jacuzzi, steam
room and sauna and Cultural Classes
including hula, ukulele & lei making. The
Kahala's Keiki Club introduces children to
the natural wonders, legends and traditions
of Hawaiian culture with all sorts of
activities. They offer both a half day and
full day of activities with a second child
at a reduced price.
Stroll along the beach as the sun sets, dine
at one of their wonderful restaurants or sit
by the pool enjoying a tropical drink. All
