OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
There are several ridge hikes on Oahu,
especially just outside of Honolulu, but
you'll likely have this one all to yourself.
Explore the Koolau Mountain Range,
overlooking the Kapakahi Gulch, not for the
amazing views back toward Honolulu, Diamond
Head, and Koko Crater, but also for the view
of the windward side's white sand beaches at
Wamanalo Bay. Also, you'll enjoy the native
flora, hiking up through the ironwood, koa,
and ohia forests, with an opportunity to
taste strawberry guava straight from the
tree......... |
