Along with Judah Robb, who is a master website designer,
we researched the top 5 online travel agent companies to
find out which company would be the best to join up with. We

has a very simple online travel agent course which takes
about 2-5 hours to complete ( It took me about 1.5 hours),
and then Traverus sends you a travel agent certification
badge after approx. 90 days. You can then get your CLIA
certification
which gets you better discounts / education on cruises for
a small fee. You are also eligible for FAM
( short for familiarization) trips ( trips only for travel
agents at very discounted rates in exchange for doing things
while on board such as touring the ship, meeting the staff,
etc. Most cruises allow FAM trips with a CLIA cert for
$40.00 - $60.00 per day per person). From all of our research, we
have come to the conclusion that Traverus is a very
legitimate company; as they have an IATA# and actually train
their employees as (CTA's), certified travel agents.
This is a great opportunity for the person who loves to
travel OR for the person who may just want to bring people
into the company. You may not be any of these, and that is
fine. However if you are interested in traveling a little
more, saving money on your travel, having your own site to
receive commission where people can book travel online (Your family and friends will book vacations with you if
they can get the same or better price than Travelocity, Orbitz, or Expedia), be able to deduct travel expenses on
your taxes, and make some side money if you bring friends
